Pneumatic rectilinear clamps of the UCBP series are suitable for clamping elements during welding in semi- automatic operations, where the work is combined with manual entry into the machine. It is possible to equip them with a position sensor suitable for welding environments. Advantage of the clamp is that the parts moving rectilinearly are covered and are thereby protected from flying irons and dust. Manual handeling allows safe control of the clamp, when the clamp is not under pressure. For safe securing, it is necessary to subsequently fill the clamp with compressed air. The clamp can be controlled by air, when there is no operator access.
